Public Hearing Announcement for Liquor License Issuance

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held regarding the issuance of liquor licenses issued by the City of Long Beach MN.
 

Date of Hearing:  June 22, 2026
Time of Hearing: 6:30 pm
Location:  Long Beach Community Hub, 23956 N. Lakeshore Dr. Glenwood, MN  56334

The purpose of the hearing is to allow interested parties to express their views regarding the issuance of the liquor license. 
 

Application Details:  Application forms will be provided at the meeting.  Additional items required by each applicant will include:

  • $20 Retailer ID Card fee has been received by the MN Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement

  • Copy of Certificate of Liability Insurance as proof of Liquor License Liability Insurance and Workers Compensation Insurance

  • Copy of signed Retail ID Card

Long Beach is nestled along the North Shore of Lake Minnewaska in central Minnesota. Adjacent to Glenwood to the west, this small community boasts a population of 341 people, but between the golf course, the restaurants, Morning Glory Gardens, and of course Lake Minnewaska, there’s plenty to explore in Long Beach.

Events that can be held at the Gardens include weddings, anniversary parties, and family reunions.

• All damages and/or loss of personal property. 

• All damages and/or loss of property and building at Morning Glory Gardens. 

• All clean up after each event. 

• No foreign objects are allowed to be staked into the ground (i.e. tents or canopies).
